Deadline for Submission of Bids	: 29th March 2012, 1200 Hours (NST)

The Ministry of Information and Communications, Government of Nepal has received a Grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of SASEC Information Highway Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Project Management Unit, Ministry of Information and Communication invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of Supply, Delivery, Installation, integration, Testing & Commissioning of Optical Fiber Cable, Access Gateway & Border Gateway Equipments, Broadband Radio Equipments & Accessories For SASEC Information Highway Project. International competitive bidding will conduct in accordance with ADB's Procurement of Plant September 2010, Single stage Two Envelop Bidding Procedure.

To purchase the bidding documents in English, eligible bidders should:

pay a non-refundable fees of US$ 70 (Seventy Only) or NRs 6000 (Six Thousand) by Depositing the Amount in the following account.

on or before the deadline: 1200 Hour on 29th March 2012
together with a Bid Security in the amount specified in the bidding document or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. For the purpose of determining the equivalent amount of the required Bid Security in a freely convertible currency, the exchange rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank prevailing on the date 28 days prior to the deadline for bid submission shall be applied.

Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
